Development methodology
Documentation status: guide — see Maturity and evidence.
logiCells supports two complementary development loops. Both begin with business vocabulary and both converge on the same declarative runtime. The difference is the first validation target.
- Model-first starts from concepts, relations, states, actions and projections, then builds declarative application artifacts early. Runtime and user feedback refine the model. H-Logic can be introduced later as a semantic synthesis.
- H-Logic-first starts by making the vocabulary, identities, relations, constraints and expected deductions explicit. Symbolic validation happens before application skeletons are generated and operationalized.
Neither loop is permanent. Switch toward H-Logic when semantic ambiguity, contradictions or rule interaction become the dominant risk. Switch toward model-first iteration when semantics are sufficiently stable and delivery of views, services, workflows or runtime behavior becomes the dominant need.
Fast paths
Recommended path
- Choose a development loop
- Model-first workflow
- H-Logic-first workflow
- Validation gates and provenance
- From validated semantics to models
- Temporal stock analysis
The key discipline is stable across both loops: business meaning belongs in concepts, relations and declared actions; implementation code is reserved for operational behavior that cannot be obtained declaratively.
