Set Hypergraphs
Documentation status: reference — see Maturity and evidence.
A set hypergraph organizes sets of nodes or relations as manipulable structures while preserving conceptual identity.
Usage
This representation is useful for expressing groups, selections, or conceptual boundaries when membership itself is part of the problem.
Rules
- define whether order is meaningful;
- define whether duplicates are possible;
- state member identity semantics;
- do not confuse a conceptual set with a transport collection;
- document mutation and derivation rules.
For a simple list of application results, a collection or view may be more appropriate.
