A collection element describes the shape of an item exposed by the collection: identity, role, or projection useful to the consumer.

The exact shape depends on the collection type and available grammar. Prefer fields and role paths from the model over storage-specific names.

Rule

A collection should remain understandable without knowing which concrete provider executes it.
