Class Manifest (YAML)

Documentation status: reference — see Maturity and evidence.

A manifest declares which conceptual classes a package provides and under which public identities they must be resolved.

Invariants

  • classId is a stable conceptual identity;
  • platform concepts use their reserved identity space;
  • application concepts use a project-owned prefix;
  • the public name remains consistent with the loaded declaration;
  • duplicates and overrides must be intentional and documented.

Example identity separation:

platformConcept: lgc#entity
applicationConcept: tsk#task
applicationRelation: tsk#task_belongs_to_project

Reserved file

ClassItems.manifest.yaml is a manifest, not a business model. Other models keep the *.model.yaml convention.

Validation

Validation should detect at least duplicate identifiers, unresolved references, and inconsistencies between the manifest and class declaration.
