Data Plane
Documentation status: architecture — see Maturity and evidence.
The data plane groups mechanisms that move, persist, synchronize, and project data used by logiCells applications.
Responsibilities
- persistence;
- queries and collections;
- caches and indexes;
- import/export;
- synchronization;
- projection to external stores;
- volume and transaction management.
Principle
Persisted data is not the conceptual model itself. Relational, NoSQL, or file projections serve technical needs while remaining connected to model identities and constraints.
Distribution
In distributed environments, define ownership, consistency, idempotency, ordering, conflict resolution, and recovery policy. Successful synchronization must not bypass authorization rules.
Performance
Prefer batching, paging, and controlled streaming to one remote call per field. Resource bounds and backpressure should be explicit.
