.NET Build Path
Reference: This page is a source-based technical synthesis of the LaTeX chapter cited below. For exact syntax, availability or ABI signatures, verify the versioned source, manifest and executable tests.
Scope and source boundary
For .NET development, select the documented runtime and typed generated package before choosing the hosting project shape.
The .NET source specifies a current .NET SDK and a 64-bit process when the installed native Runtime is 64-bit. It explicitly allows Visual Studio, Rider or Visual Studio Code as development environments. The recommended project separates application code, Runtime integration, tests and native Runtime deployment files, with locations/endpoints kept outside business code.
Engineering rules
- Use distinct
src/App/andsrc/RuntimeIntegration/directories. - Keep automated tests in
tests/App.Tests/and native binaries/configuration inruntime/. - Match process architecture to the installed native Runtime library.
- Externalize Runtime path and endpoint configuration so local/remote execution can switch without editing domain logic.
