Deploying logiCells Applications
Documentation status: guide — see Maturity and evidence.
Deployment packages the application model, its configuration, the selected Runtime topology, required bindings and external dependencies into a reproducible release unit.
Choose a topology
- Local Runtime — Runtime distributed with the application when low latency, offline operation or edge autonomy is important.
- Remote Runtime — Runtime managed behind a service/RPC boundary when centralized governance, scaling or isolation is required.
- Distributed topology — multiple nodes/sites when the application uses distributed Runtime capabilities or LDN.
Release checklist
- pair generated bindings with a compatible Runtime;
- validate capabilities at startup when available;
- keep endpoints and Runtime locations outside business code;
- externalize secrets;
- publish diagnostics/health checks;
- test shutdown and object-lifetime behavior;
- test local/RPC behavior for supported deployment modes;
- use containers/orchestration when appropriate to the operating environment.
Deployment documentation must describe public artifacts and configuration, not private build-tool assumptions.
