functionalP essentials

functionalP is a compact runtime expression language embedded in logiCells metadata. It is not the conceptual model itself and it is not a substitute for H-Logic. Use it when a declared action, view behavior, process step, or adapter needs procedural computation.

Minimal program

5 + 10;

A script is normally a sequence of expressions separated by semicolons:

a := 5;
b := 8;
Result := a + b;

When the action contract expects a return value, prefer assigning Result explicitly instead of relying on the final expression implicitly becoming the script result.

Optional library/import header

Some scripts can use an explicit header:

library Runtime.Demo;
import Runtime.Core;

Result := 1 + 2;

Most metadata scripts do not need such a header.

What belongs here

Good candidates include local calculations, conversion of event parameters, page-local reactions, orchestration glue inside a declared action, and small transformations. Durable business meaning should remain visible in concepts, constraints, actions, events, processes, and H-Logic rules.
